San Cristobal de La Laguna is divided into four very distinct areas, easy and rapid access: the rural or agricultural area, consisting of mud, Tejina, Guamasa and Ortigal; the mountain area or the natural area, the Rural Park Anaga, where villages are very renowned as Chinamada, Los Batanes and Las Carboneras, down to the coast by this same mountain range are the coastal communities of Bajamar and Punta de Hidalgo, and finally the small but immensely beautiful, historic center, declared World Heritage Sites in 1999 and in the four areas the town offers a wide variety of walks and visits, where the beauty, smells, experiences and feelings leading to join San Cristobal de La Laguna, a world apart on the island of Tenerife.

This public transport service covers the entire island, making connections between the nuclei farthest from Tenerife. In La Laguna is the station of Saint Benedict, a transit point, beginning or end of the main lines of the island, whose buses have a distinctive green color.

The tram service is concentrated in the metropolitan area (Santa Cruz - La Laguna), is currently in a growth phase, but today you can enjoy two lines. It is a safe means of transport, timely and practical, being now a very useful tool for mobile users.
