Monte

During the period aboriginal Anaga was a region rich in water and pasture, where the Guanches found the necessary support. With the end of the conquest by the end of 1495 begins the process of pacification and colonization, being Anaga in the allotment of land subject conducted by the conqueror Alonso Fern?ndez de Lugo. In 1501 founded the first settlement of the region, the Taganana. Breaking the isolation and opening channels of communication was one of the most urgent needs, as the network of trails and creeks used by Aboriginal cattle was insufficient, hence efforts were made to build other roads, such as Camino Real de Las Vueltas.

It is in this area where visitors can enjoy numerous hiking paths, mingling with wildlife and vegetation of the area. The Water Lodge Mountains, located in the Bailadero, is available to any visitor who decides to spend the night in this natural setting.
